Brisbane times

Finally made it to Brisbane, home of Heath, Jess, Erin and the not so mighty Brisbane Lions.
We have been busy bees and trying loads of local foods, catching up with different friends and family, while also getting to understand the northern culture. This involves drinking while watching sport, sports while drinking and drinking as sport!

Sydney Times

So we flew into sydney tired and confused but managed a great catch up with Heath's friends Benny and Danielle. They showed us all the sights including the Opera House and not forgetting the magnificent Blue Mountains... Well nearly.
Heres a little clip from our failed venture. But don't despair, it all ended well with a trip to the bottle shop, followed by a pubcrawl, all culminating in a stunning roast dinner and some Schwarzenegger!!! Party times

Japan

So we finally left the UK after many sad goodbyes. However we were somewhat consoled by an upgrade on our flight and some free champagne! We touched down into Tokyo on the Monday and spent four nights in the most mental city in the world! We thought London was busy but turns out that its nothing compared to Tokyo... There is a million things to look at and can be a bit overwhelming. It didn't help that Heath's Japanese wasn't as fluent as he had claimed so we became very good at pointing and sign language! When we were tired there were so many lovely parks with turtles and carp that were really relaxing. We also took a day trip to Mount Takao, which is the lazy man's alternative to climbing Mount Fuji. It took us all day to go up and down and there were loads of Buddhist temples along the way and a monkey park to keep us entertained. We left on the Friday for Australia even more tired then when we arrived but it really is an awesome city to visit.
